Draft SOP: Hotel 3

Pre-Service Planning:
The day before the day of the service duty, I will organize a conference call bet Hotel 2-4 and we will tie down the following:
  • Position of the ushers before and during the service, especially between points that involves two Hotels. Eg, acupoints, svc flow etc.
  • Defining Area of responsibility and our position during svc so as to maximize our coverage effect.
  • How communication between us will be carried out, while minimizing the use of the comm set.
  • Pre-empt some possible scenarios and devise some solutions.
After so, i will do an allocation of the ushers allocated to my South to each zone and one to nursery and prepare instructions and localised briefing.
  • What are their responsibilities.
  • Where can they find me should anything they can't handle arise.
  • Any questions that they may have.
Pre-Service Preparation:
I'll clarify with Hotel 1 before the general briefing about certain questions:
  • What is the estimated flow today?
  • How many rows for South 1-3 will be closed?
  • Any special instructions or special handouts?
During the localised briefing, i go through with them the duty and set a vision and goal for the group.
Also i will ask them to hep them in the hall set back and recycling after service, and appoint a time for a briefing.
At the same time, i will do arrangement accordingly should any unforseen circumstances occur. (eg, usher didn't come, etc)

During Service:
I'll help prep the hall with the ushers and when closer to the opening doors time. I will place the ushers in the pre appointed positions.
During service, i will place myself somewhere that i can see most of the south areas and will be moving around and welcoming people into the hall from the lift lobbies and address any arising problems.
  • Possible cases, i'll take haft of the hall while hotel 4 takes the other 1.
  • So to maximize coverage.
During Service, i will ensure the smooth flow of offerings and also the nursery attendance and offering.
When sermon starts i will take one lift lobby to welcome latecomers and anyone leaving early.
Post Service:
At the appointed briefing time:
  1. How do you think this service went?
  2. What good things have you or the others done?
  3. What are some things that can be improved?
After a quick sharing, i will share what i have noticed with them and what can be improved on it.
After so, i'll help delegate them to help finish up the recycling/hall set back.
