Group 16 Decentralised Library

An idea that popped up in my mind when I was washing up this morning. The idea is for every Group 16 usher to submit a list of items that they are willing and happy to lend to fellow Group 16 ushers. As of now, these items include Christian books, CDs, DVDs, sermons and other resources.

This way, we can share resources to build up our faith - especially for youths who may want to read certain christian books but can't afford them.

Some ground rules:

1. All loans are carried out on trust. Pls don't abuse nor violate the trust given to you.
2. Pls take good care of the items loaned to you.
3. All items can be loaned up to a maximum of 3 weeks.
4. There should not be a transference of loaned items to another borrower without the owner's explicit consent.
   
5. Lenders who lose borrowed items MUST compensate the borrower - by repurchasing/replacing the lost item.
6. No items should be "parked" nor stored at Logistics or any part of our church building.

Some issues to consider:

1. How to track loaned items?
2. How to maintain database of loanable items?
